Terms and Conditions (T&C) of Schröter Keynoby

1. Scope

These terms govern the legal relationship between Schröter Keynoby, sole proprietorship, Leuengasse 24, 8142 Uitikon, Switzerland (hereinafter "Keynoby" or "platform") and all persons using our brokerage platform (end customers and locksmith partners). By registering or using the platform, users accept these terms in their current version.

2. Scope of services

Keynoby operates an online platform through which end customers can find and hire regional locksmiths. Keynoby acts solely as an intermediary; the service contract is concluded directly between the end customer and the locksmith partner ("partner"). Keynoby is not a contracting party and assumes no warranty or performance obligations.

3. Communication

Direct communication between end customers and partners takes place via the platform's integrated Stream chat. Keynoby uses phone or email only for support notifications and quality surveys (see section 8).

4. Registration and user obligations

End customers register with name, mobile number and email address; partners additionally provide company data and professional credentials. All information must be truthful, current and complete. Multiple accounts, false identities and sharing of access data are prohibited. Users are liable for activities under their account unless they can prove misuse by third parties.

5. Contract between end customer and partner

After entering the service address, the end customer can request and receive offers from partners. A contract is formed once the end customer confirms the chosen offer via the platform. Changes, cancellations or refunds are agreed directly between the parties; Keynoby only provides the chat infrastructure for this purpose.

6. Prices, fees and payment processing

  • Use of the platform is free for end customers.
  • Partners pay Keynoby a commission per successful referral under a separate agreement; billing is weekly.
  • Payment of the service price takes place directly between the end customer and the partner; Keynoby is not involved in the payment flow.

7. Liability

  • Keynoby is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
  • The partner is solely responsible for the execution, quality or punctuality of locksmith services.
  • The partner indemnifies Keynoby from all third‑party claims arising from service provision.

8. Quality assurance

  • To ensure service quality, Keynoby may survey end customers by phone or email after order completion ("mystery calls").
  • No calls are recorded; notes are stored for a maximum of twelve months.
  • End customers can object to this contact at any time (support@keynoby.com).

9. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with revDSG/GDPR and the privacy policy at keynoby.com/de/datenschutz. This includes, among other things, temporary address searches (deleted after 24 hours), storage of chat histories for twelve months, and sharing necessary data with partners to fulfill the order.

Dazu gehören unter anderem die temporäre Adresssuche (Löschung nach 24 h), die Speicherung von Chat‑Verläufen für zwölf Monate und die Weitergabe notwendiger Daten an Partner zur Auftragsdurchführung.

10. Changes to the terms

Keynoby may adapt these terms to legal or technical changes. Changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If a user objects, they may delete their account before the effective date; otherwise the new terms are deemed accepted.

11. Jurisdiction and applicable law

  • Swiss law applies exclusively.
  • Jurisdiction for all disputes is Zurich unless mandatory legal provisions apply.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. An invalid clause will be replaced by a provision that is as economically equivalent as possible.
